Dear families of room 18:
Today we had a PACKED day!
We started the day off with music and followed it up with a half hour of DEAR so students can identify a page of text that they would like to use for our next form of poetry. After that we moved into social studies presentations on our famous Canadians. After recess we had gym, which was rescheduled because of health, and science. We then moved into math and language arts after lunch, followed by an hour of health at the end of the day.
Because we started health today, we are working on a crunched timeline and are zooming through tasks at the speed of light. This has actually turned out to be a blessing as students no longer have time to waste! Students in both grades should have come home with some form of homework, a crossword or a fill in the blank.
Have a nice night!
