Happy Friday Families!
Today we began our day with our Pillars of Care assembly! Congratulations again to our four winners: Karim, Rylee, Tyla, and Tyler!
After our assembly we did a day of wonderful word problems that were student generated. There were some very creative word problems to be solved! Once we finished math, we headed downstairs and played bench dodgeball with Mr. Sadowsky's class. It was a ton of fun.
We had a quick nutrition break and then we got the laptops out to finish up our next blog posts. Students should now have their final product of their next blog post ready for your viewing. They should also have the rubric by which their work is being compared copied and pasted into the slide directly after their latest entry. Students who had completed their writing worked instead on their Wonder Character Trait art. ***If your e-mail link is not working to view your child's blog, they can always log in to their drive and show you directly through their drive.***
Next, we had learning buddies!
At the end of the day we took some time to say goodbye to Ms. Ryan who will be headed back to school for the month of January and will be back with us after Family Day weekend. We are sad to see her go but are glad that she will be coming back to join us.
We also had vaccinations today for our grade 5 students.
Reminders for next week:
-Friday is a PD day, the last day of school for students is Thursday
